The City of Ipswich is the first to sign the Small Business Friendly Charter in Queensland. The initiative was initially developed in other Australian states and has now been adapted and implemented in Queensland by the Small Business Commissioner Maree Adshead.
The signing of the Small Business Friendly Council charter reinforces the commitment of council to supporting your Ipswich small business. The signing took place on 1 October 2020 and was attended by the Mayor, Councillors, State Members for the region, Ipswich Region Chamber of Commerce President, Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce President and representatives from Department of Employment Small Business and Training (Office of the Small Business Commissioner).
