Rebecca is Australia’s #1 Baby Boomer influencer. A marketer, writer, and entrepreneur with decades of experience in ‘making things happen’. She started Starts at 60 from a humble blog five years ago having watched her parents’ hit 60; after a career in corporate marketing and consulting. She has worked tirelessly and faithfully for her community ever since, truly understanding their needs, and growing a team of more than 30 with similar consumer-focussed values to her own. Rebecca is driven by data, digital, and a passion for seeing the Baby Boomers fulfilled online.
“Heart, Help and Hustle”
In less than 4 years, those three words describe how our guest speaker took one idea and started not only a business with a global outlook but a whole new career too.
She has taken her ideas from Ipswich to the US, UK and Asia and is excited about a positive future ahead for us all, particularly opportunities for women to grow in business.
Anne-Marie Walton is one of 23 Entrepreneurship Facilitators across Australia where, based in the Ipswich region she provides free practical assistance through one-on-one mentoring, free workshops and support to encourage people of Ipswich, Scenic Rim, Somerset and Lockyer Valley to start a business.
Additionally, as the founder of KidsWantu, Anne-Marie is creating technology for personalised fast family fun together, away from a screen.
